We was employed by Dome Building Projects for this commercial demolition project. The contract involved the internal strip-out of a prefab building including removal of the wooden flooring, apertures to be cut in the external walls for new doors and windows and the dismantling of the steel lift shaft frame work.
The floor was removed by the use of jack hammers with chisels due to heavy duty glue and screed used underneath. All apertures measured and cut to specification. The steel lift shaft was dismantled with an oxy acetylene gas axe and duck lift for lowering the steel, the steel beams was cut into small manageable sections for easier disposal due to the proximity of the lift shaft within the building.
